The Story and Orwell
George Orwell wrote this novel to inform people
of the Russian Revolution and compare it to the farm animals. Each animal has their own similarities and comparison to a character of the Russian Revolution. Orwell is decently paranoid of the government and the government plans of control.
Animal Farm is farm owned by Mr. Jones, a heartless drunk with not much care for any of the animals on the Manor farm. He does not take care of the animals; they are hungry, unhealthy and very unhappy. On the Manor farm is one dominant leader, very wise and has more prior experience with life than any other animal on the farm, Old Major, a prized boar, wants to rebel. He convinces all the animals to do so, although right before they want to rebel, unfortunately, Old Major dies. Napoleon takes the ignitative to become leader. He leads the farm against the humans, and claims they are bad. Many conflicts occur with many animals and issues with neighboring farms. Eventually Napoleon joins the humans, double crossing the Animal Farm and leaving them so mourn in thier poverty strucken farm life.
